I don't leave reviews but, I will for this place cause of their responsiveness from Lydia and Drew. I filed out maybe 5 of these ''til me what you want website forms'' with a bunch of places around the city. the only place to actually answer me without re-asking me what I wanted within 24 hours was Detail pro shop.
got on a call and I got an estimate. I did hesitate cause I really did want to shop around, but when I had more questions and they actually do the good XPEL I decided this the shop to do cause I'm big on communication and they had it. I'm low key impatient and every other place just took too long to respond(more then 24hrs)
I knew I wanted to do tint and ceramic but was on the fence with PPF. I couldn't determine if I wanted to go darker on my tint now This part might be ''the bait'' but idc cause it's good bait let me tell you.
When I came in for my appointment there's a nice red Honda out front that is done by the shop(I didn't know it when I pulled in) it was the look I wanted but, looks are nothing compared to functionality cause my eyes ain't what they use to be and going under 35% I didn't think it work out. I get in I'm greeted by Lydia who's dealt with me for my goofy questions over the phone before coming in.
I ask ''what's the tint on that red Honda'' she reply ''It's 15% all around and 55 in the front'' it was lower then I wanted to go(I thought) she let me take a peek so I could get an idea of what it looks like and lucky me it was a bit overcast and I was like man this is it. I ended up going 55 windshield/15% all around instead of 70%/35/20% my older car had 35% all around and it was fine but the 15% heat block with the XPEL black...perfect imho and I don't have bad visibility at night and it helps the LED lights. I don't live in a rural area with no lights so keep in mind I can't review that and it's a newer car with cameras so YMMV.
back to reviewing the shop. Lydia was really friendly and was transparent on the things she knew about and things she didn't (she was extremely knowledgeable I just had some odd ''high level'' questions that were more random) she ease my worries about going lower but not in a way it ''talked me into it'' just a very buddy convo because its not more expensive to do darker tint but, she was helping me make a choice to not have regrets on not picking something I wouldn't be happy with long term. no one wants to come back if they don't need to.
I spent a long time talking her ear off with my concerns I ended up feeling confident in the shop to do the PPF partial front/full ceramic and tint on the car. They also have a 2 week follow up for you to come in and have them check out the job to make sure it looks good and your still happy and all the warranties for the work is basically a no-brainer. I am def going to come back for a couple of other jobs. Honestly They were transparent with knowing they are not the cheapest place(but dang sure not the most expensive. Its reasonable imho). The work was awesome. the people experience awesome. If you read this seriously just go here you're not gonna be upset . They'll take care of you for sure
TL;DR: Responsive, knowledgeable, The work is awesome. They were amazing,. You won't be disappointed.
Response from the owner:Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed review! We really appreciate you sharing your experience and trusting us with your vehicle. Communication and transparency are both very important to us, so it’s great to hear that stood out throughout the process. I’ll be sure to pass your kind words along to Lydia, Drew, and the rest of the team. We’re glad everything turned out the way you hoped, and we look forward to helping with any future projects!
