This is my experience with this custom shop and the reason why I would NOT RECOMEND THIS SHOP FOR WINDOWS TINT.
1. They left an uneven gap between the edge of the glass and the tint film. This would have been a deal breaker for me, but unfortunately, they don't advertise it anywhere, so I didn't know they would do such a poor job. It looks like it was done by a 9-year-old kid or someone is just learning this business, looks very cheap... I spoke to the owner, Mike. I wanted to get him to come out to see the car and review his shop's tint application quality, but he wouldn't. He got mad at me, yelled at me and he told me he will void my warranty if he had to replace the applied film.
At the end he sent his son to talk to me. His son agreed that they could have done a better job but to do it, I would have to leave the vehicle again...I didn't want to since I wasn't going to risk them breaking anything again just to get the same gap between the glass edge and the tint film. (I've attached some photos and videos, please judge yourself).
All the vehicle photos you will see in the other reviews are with the windows closed, I guess they are embarrassed to roll down the windows so you don’t see the “gap”.
2. They broke my rearview mirror and tried to hide it from me. they didn't tell me anything and fixed it with 3M double side tape... when I got home the mirror felt down...Since I picked up the vehicle on Friday close to 5pm, I had to go back on Saturday to talk to them and come back on Monday to have it fixed. At first, the owner, Mike, tried to blame the manufacturer, but after showing him the vehicle was brand new and some back and forth discussions, he agreed to fix it.
Response to the Owner: please DON’T LIE, it is not good for the costumer…
For the record, you did not replace the entire windshield as you mention in your response, nothing was replaced.
You asked a random 3rd party guy to fix the broken mirror, he glued it on, told me to wait 24hours, and then I had to put the mirror back on myself. I DID NOT WALKED OUT SATISFIED and or with a free replacement.
3. They ripped off one of the rear door panel and broke the handle. I realized of it too late and had to pay another shop to fix it. I didn't want to go back to this shop to get it fixed.
4. I had full vehicle window tint. They told me it would take 5 or 6 hours, but it took almost 9 hours. I dropped my vehicle off at 8am. and picked it up at 4:45pm. (I had to call to ask for a status). I guess it took them longer because they were trying to fix all the mess they did.
5. I paid $830, DOES NOT WORTH IT!. Please don't waste your money if you're looking for window film at this shop.
6. I am not against having pets at the office, but they have a dog and left full of fur all the interior of my vehicle, they could be a little bit professionals and clean it at least
The son, and the receptionist are very friendly.
Response from the owner:Hi "I L" - we are deeply sorry you had a poor experience with our shop, but we would like to address your concerns one by one:
1) We spent time talking with you regarding the "gap" you are concerned about. This gap you speak of is necessary as to avoid any peeling from rolling the window up and down. We spoke about this extensively and told you as well that tinting any further to "close the gap" would void your warranty as it risks the tint peeling over time. We choose to tint with "the gap" as to honor the lifetime warranty that comes with our tint.
2) We are displeased as well with your rearview mirror falling. This is not a reflection of our work and we do apologize for this major inconvenience. However, we replaced your entire windshield for free and you left our shop seemingly satisfied with the free replacement.
3) We cannot nor will not speak to the broken door handle. We cannot rectify any damage that is not brought to our attention.
4) We understand the frustration that comes with not receiving your car as early as you were led to believe. Though the service does not typically take a full 9 hours, we do let clients know that we aim to complete the service in an estimated amount of hours, but may need it for the full day.
5) We offered to redo any windows you had concerns with in order to rectify the situation at hand and you declined replacement. As we decided to replace an entire windshield for free and potentially redo your tint, you are not eligible for a refund.
6) We do have animals in our shop, we do apologize if there was fur in your vehicle. Again, we are willing to rectify issues that are brought to our attention directly.
Thank you for your feedback and concerns. We did what we thought best to rectify your poor experience. We wish you best with choosing a new shop.
Updated response as of 5/27/2025:
Hi "I L" –
We’ve already addressed your concerns thoroughly and in good faith, both in person and in our previous response. While we stand by the work performed and the efforts we made to resolve the situation — including offering to redo any windows you were unhappy with and assisting with the rearview mirror issue — it's clear that nothing we do or say will meet your expectations.
At this point, we will not be engaging in further back-and-forth regarding this matter. We have done our part to be professional, transparent, and solution-oriented throughout.
We wish you the best in finding a shop that aligns better with your preferences.
